The Sitges Next festival, which will celebrate its tenth edition on May 8 and 9, will address new narratives in communication, based on the options offered by new digital formats. It will do so with the help of three experts: Daniel Calabuig, Juan Sevilla and Isabelita Virtual. All three will join the speaker program, which will be announced in full next week.
Daniel Calabuig is a creator and developer of new narrative projects. He has created audiences for brands through stories and games. He has designed and developed digital content, branded entertainment, viral campaigns and transmedia narrative projects for Audi, Heineken, Estrella Galicia, Volkswagen, PlayStation, CocaCola, Bacardi and Toyota, among others.
Juan Sevilla is creative director at Wieden + Kennedy, where, from the London headquarters, he leads campaigns for Heinz, Honda, Nike, Coca – Cola, Lurpak, Finlandia Vodka and Sainsbury’s. Previously, he was creative director at Lola MullenLove and Leo Burnett and art director at KesselsKramer (Amsterdam) and Ogilvy & Mather.
Isabelita Virtual is the business card of Isabel Martínez, a creative director specialized in communication and art, with a special emphasis on AI. She was the first Spanish woman to be awarded a Webby Award Honoree for Best Content in Art and Culture. She has also received awards at Cannes Lions and D&AD. She has worked for brands such as Apple, Vogue, Hermès, Dior and the Louis Button Foundation, among others.
