Three Creatives Who Are World References Will Be at Sitges Next

The Festival, to be held on November 10th and 11th, announces the first speakers and will be finalizing its lineup over the next few days

Edu Pou, Jorge Calleja and Jordi Pont are the first names that have been confirmed for Sitges Next 22, to be held on November 10th and 11th and that will bring together a complete and diverse roster of leading creatives in innovation. The Festival is currently finalizing its lineup, curated by Enric Nel-lo.

Sitges Next’s lineup will be structured around presentations, dialogues and testimonials of success stories by well-known professionals from different communication disciplines, who will be addressing different thematic fields: strategies, campaigns, brands, technological applications, creativity, agencies -both global and indie- and new realities.

The first three confirmed speakers fit these profiles. Edu Pou is currently a founding partner of Metacampus and an international role model who has worked for global brands in a number of campaigns considered to be benchmarks in innovation for Samsung, Netflix, Toms, Toyota and Pepsi. He first started working in Barcelona and before arriving in Australia, he worked for prestigious agencies including Wieden+Kennedy, in Amsterdam, Here Be Dragons, in New York, and We Are Social Australia, in Sydney. He is co-author of the book La interrupción/Interruption (Deusto).

Jorge Calleja is the CCO of Meta Reality Labs. He previously worked as CCO at Crispin Porter Bogusky in Los Angeles, global creative director of Coca-Cola for W+K, global creative director at TBWAMedia Arts Lab and The Martin Agency, as well as vice president of marketing at Blizzard Entertainment.

Jordi Pont is EMAE senior creative director at Nike International, where he has developed global campaigns for Nikebasketball, NikeWomen and Nikefootball. Previously he directed global counts for Booking.com and Heineken from W+K Amsterdam.

Sitges Next is the festival dedicated to promoting innovation in the communication of brands, agencies, start-ups and technological creators. It’s two days to establish connections, receive input and inspiration, with the objective of making an important contribution to the transformation of the way we will be communicating over the upcoming years. The Sitges Mercat (Old Market), the Maricel Palace and the Stämpfli Foundation will be the three Sitges Next 2022 venues.
